Choc Banana Oat Slice

Choc Banana Oat Slice

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day but for me - it's the worst! With two kids, work and all that throws, breakfast quite often becomes the coffee I throw down before I leave. So I thought I'd give this breakfast slice a crack and I can absolutely say it was SOOOO worth it!!

Ingredients:

  • 200g oats
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 2 bananas mashed
  • 40g vanilla protein powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar free maple syrup
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • handful of dark chic chips

Mash the bananas. Combine your dry ingredients then add the mashed banana. Add the maple syrup and milk and stir to combine. Fold in the chocolate chips. Spread evenly in a prepared tin then bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 180 degrees.

I added some banana slices on top before baking but I feel like this recipe would last better without.

Enjoy!
